With white yarn:

Rnd 1: Magic ring – ch 2 – 9 dc inside the ring – join with sl st.

Rnd 2: ch 2 – 1 dc into the same space – 2 dc in every stitch util you have 14 dc – don’t join at the end – ch 2 and turn.

Rnd 5: 1 dc in the next 2 stitches – *2 dc in the next stitch – 1 dc in the next 3 stitches* – repeat from *to*

Rnd 6: With black yarn 1 sc in each stitch around – join with sl st.

Work the second eye following the same pattern. Don’t join the eyes yet, wait until you have made the spiderweb.

Braid

Cut 6 strands of red yarn and 6 strands of blue yarn of 50 cm. Put them together and pull them through the ear flap so that each half hangs on each side. Make a simple braid of 3 strands (each one must have 2 red’s and 2 blue’s). Once finished tie a knot to secure the end and cut the excess. Repeat this process to work the second braid.

Spiderweb

With black yarn and a tapestry needle sew on the hat from front to back and crossing between them. Let your imagination fly and make your custom spider web.
